Founded in 1984 in an old 19th century building, Bodega Heretat Mont-Rubí is located on an estate ina large area of forestland and vineyards around the village of L'Avellà in the Alt Penedès region. The wine is 100% old vine Carinyena (Carignan). Manual harvest on early October and careful selection of the grapes. Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Slow pressing and maturation in old French oak barrels for 6 months. On the nose it as a unique bouquet. It is a medium bodied and well balanced wine that can be enjoyed by itself or with a variety of dishes.
