Betz Possibility Columbia Valley Washington Red Blend 2015
The Betz family is well know for blending red wines that are an intriguing mix of European grapes. Possibility is no exception. While most red blends are various percentages of Bordeaux grapes, Possibility is a blend of Rhone and Bordeaux. It is 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Syrah with Petit Verdot and Merlot thrown in for good measure.
Wine Spectator gives this a 92 rating and calls it "Polished and seamlessly built". Robert Parker's Wine Advocate gives it a 90 rating and says: "Drink this rounded, impressively textured, pleasure-bent beauty anytime over the coming 4 - 6 years."
