This wine has a firm structure as well as plenty of fruit. The wine's acidity, crisp red-currant fruit and bright character are balanced by the firm, smoky and dry tannins.
A classic cru Beaujolais from one of my favorite regions. This wine will age nicely for four to six years and become more and more Burgundian over time.
Beaujolais is fruity with little tannin and can accompany many dishes providing they are not heavily spicy. Beef or poultry, pasta dishes and charcuterie, fish and salads, and also goat cheese. Thus, it would be perfect for a buffet.
