The Cuvelier family have owne the Bordeaux estates of Château Léoville Poyferré and Château Le Crock since 1903. Michel Rolland continues to dutifully oversee the winemaking. The estate grown grapes are all hand picked and the wine is made with the same process and standards used in Bordeaux. Rich red with chocolate, hazelnut and fruit characters. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months this Grand Vin is Malbec prevailing, softened and completed with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot.
