South of Chateauneuf du Pape and on the west bank of the Rhône river, Lirac reds are crafted from the classic Southern Rhône grapes of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. Lirac wines tend to be a little lighter than their Côtes du Rhone cousins on the other side of the river.
This blend from Domaine Chantepierre is great on its own and matches nicely with all meat dishes.
