Forget what you think Tempranillo is supposed to taste like!!
A blend from three vineyards high up in the Sierra Foothills. It's cool high altitude nights, rocky soil and organic farming make for a Tempranillo of remarkable elegance and purity.
The Pretty Horse Tempranillo has muted tannins and a softness that you would not associate with the Spanish Tempranillo. It is blended with 5% Graciano and 5% Pinot Noir that further softens and rounds out the wine. And it is under 13% alcohol!
Only 9 barrels were produced and under 400 cases bottled.
