Disgorged July 2016. Is this the best bottling yet of this cuvée? Yes! Made of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay, all from the Grand Cru Village of Ambonnay, Billiot's Rose has moved past the challenge of the 2011 vintage, with '12 and '13 providing the base for this offering. According to importer Terry Theise, Laetitia Billiot is now positioned to make truly stellar Champagnes, and she has done just that with this wine. This pink beauty is brighter and fresher than it has been in past years, giving tangy raspberry and strawberry fruits, yet is still a wine of depth and weight.
