This is one of the truly balanced Sauvignon Blanc's I've had from New Zealand. This wine does not have the heavy lemony/grassy taste of most New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs. Refreshing on it's own but also a great food wine.

The Wine Guy
This wine shows a good aromatic intensity with bright floral note of elderflower and lime blossom. The wine is layered with flavours ranging from guava, melon, gooseberry and lime zest. The palate has definite mineral notes balancing the ripe acidity and myriad of fruit and flower flavours. This uplifting Sauvignon shows an excellent length and depth on the palate, simply delicious in the glass.
Food Matches: Huia Sauvignon Blanc is delicious with: fresh oysters, prawns, scallops; mussels cooked in Sauvignon Blanc; marinated fish with dill; goat, sheep and feta cheeses.
