93 Points! The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Grand Réserve 1864 is super impressive. Smoke, spices, dried pears, licorice and almonds are all laced together in a Champagne built on pure texture and volume. Soft and seamless on the palate, but with tons of underlying structure, the current release of the 1864 is a real winner. The 1864 is a blend of vintages 2004 and 2003, done in neutral oak.
