A Priorat blend of 70% Carignan and 30% Grenache. From old vines grown around the village of Porrera. Each variety is aged separately for 16 months; The carignan in new and second year old barriques of 225 ltr and the Grenache in second year old French oak barriques of 400 ltr.
Tasting Notes: Dark mature fruits, mineral and species notes with a hint of liquorice on the nose. Palate round and smooth, broad and complex with a perfect balance of acidity and dryness and good frutal weight.
Note: It is recommended to decant the wine before consuming. It can be drunk now and over the next 6 – 7 years.
