The beginning of the cultivation of grapes for the production of wine, by the Tornatore Family dates back to 1865 when the great-grandfather of the current owner embarks on the quest for quality wine.
The vines struggle for water in rocky soil, producing grapes with intense color and flavors balanced with acidity. The 2015 Pietrarizzo Rosso has fragrant aromas of flowers and red berries and a mouth filled with lively raspberry and cherry flavors woven through dried herbs. Balanced, refined structure and notes of minerality create a long, energetic finish. Rated 95 points by Wine Enthusiast (Editors Choice) Rate 93 Points by James Suckling
