The Gros parcel of Echézeaux is one of the finest in the appellation, in a plot called Les Loachauses. A perfume of sweet raspberry, red currant and boysenberry. A very stylish wine, juicy, succulent and sweet with a flowing silky texture. The rich fruit builds on the palate, kept in place by a very refreshing line of acidity which gives great persistence on the finish. Dignified and classy.

Broody and complex aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and mulberry with savoury, smoky overtones. A blockbuster of a wine with notable power, complexity, and structure, yet still so graceful and refined thanks to the silky texture and juicy dark black fruit core laden with delicate white pepper spice. Lots of tension and precision on the finale; what a stunner.
