This is a unique wine since it comes from the vines of the Joseph Drouhin estate as well as from the younger vines of Clos des Mouches and other Premier Crus of Beaune that have been declassified (a Beaune wine can be declassified into Côte de Beaune).
So great value! Rich bright purple, with a super-seductive yet fresh bouquet. Energy and finesse together. Has its own distinct label within the family of Clos des Mouches. Superb weight of smooth red fruit right across the palate and very good length.
