This is seriously lovely Champagne; wonderfully ripe, musky aromas, less unknit than earlier versions, which sometimes implied a crevasse between the mature part and the steely part. It's like liquefied French-toast and butter; shows the sorrel-y dryness with the pointed chalky flower, with a brown-butter smile off the Meunier.
