Langhe Nebbiolo DOC is by no means a poor relation of Barbaresco, but the product of a precise choice made during harvesting. It is made with grapes produced by younger vines, grown in richer soils. Harmonious with a good balance between fruit and tannins.
The Langhe Nebbiolo produced by Piero Busso shows a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose expresses recognizable hints of red fruit, cherries and blackberries, floral notes, memories of spices and undergrowth. On the palate it is a balanced wine between good acidity and freshness. Excellent persistence. Perfect in combination with red meat dishes, game and game.
