The 2022 Chateau d'Arsac 'Le Kid d'Arsac' Margaux is the second wine from this historic chateau and we all loved the modern label that is a playful riff on a child's drawing of the chateau. Owner Philippe Raoux has been called the "Free-spirited kid of Margaux" hence the name. This wine is 72% Cabernet Sauvignon and 28% Merlot that was grown on the signature Margaux soils which are a sandy-gravelly clay mixture that is well drained yet holds enough moisture to make Cabernet thrive.
The 2022 Bordeaux vintage gets 95 point from Wine Spectator. This d'Arsac is in the style of classic Bordeaux with the low alcohol levels you used to see in the region.
