The Jean-Max Roger Sancerre Rosé "La Grange Dîmière" 2024 is one of the more serious rosés coming out of the Loire Valley. Unlike many Provence rosés that emphasize fruit above all else, this wine combines Pinot Noir fruit with Sancerre's hallmark minerality and freshness, making it a versatile food wine. It is dry, crisp and elegant. It is less overtly fruity than many Provençal rosés and more driven by acidity and terroir. Best over the next two to three years. Pair with: Smoked salmon, Sushi, shrimp and crab, grilled salmon, Thai cuisine and other Asian dishes.
